Minerva Academy once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community welfare and social responsibility by successfully conducting its 10th Annual Blood Donation Drive on December 8th, held in honour of the birthday of its founder, Ranjit Bajaj, celebrated on December 6th.
What began a decade ago as a small initiative rooted in compassion has now evolved into one of Minerva’s strongest and most meaningful traditions. This year’s edition witnessed remarkable participation from players, coaches, staff members, and supporters of the academy. Together, they donated an impressive 30 litres of blood, contributing directly to saving countless lives across the region.
A significant highlight of the event was the participation of their Chief Pusher Ranjit Bajaj, who donated blood for the 27th time. His consistent involvement over the years reflects his deep sense of commitment to serving society and leading by example. His dedication has inspired thousands of young athletes at Minerva to understand the importance of giving back and contributing to the community.
The drive was conducted under the supervision of qualified medical teams who ensured efficient, safe, and hygienic procedures throughout the day. Many young footballers from the academy stepped forward to donate for the first time, marking an important milestone in their personal and social development. The atmosphere at the camp was filled with unity, purpose, and a collective desire to make a positive difference.
Beyond producing top footballing talent for the nation, Minerva Academy has always believed in building individuals with strong values, discipline, and compassion. The annual blood donation drive stands as a testament to the academy’s belief that true excellence is not defined by trophies alone, but by the ability to uplift and support society.
As Minerva continues to achieve new heights in Indian and international football, its commitment to humanitarian and community-driven initiatives remains stronger than ever. The academy looks forward to continuing and expanding such efforts in the years to come, staying true to its mission of creating responsible, empathetic, and impactful young leaders.
